Black Leather Travel Bag Briefcase Vintage
Antique Suitcase Business Attache Display Storage
This vintage bag is simply stunning...made of a rigid leather with black finish. Double handles that snap together are attached with brass rings, bold brass locking hardware finishes off the front to give this a unique look. Inside is very simple with a full length separator for files or folders. I'm sure do to the design of this with the file separator, that this was probably a briefcase for a businessman. Inside is marked Mutual, Top Grain Leather.
The condition is very shabby chic...lots of vintage patina! The leather has mild splitting where the top flap folds over, rubbing on edges.
This bag exudes chic style and sophistication, not really a bag, but classic art! I would recommend this for display purposes only due to the age and already visible wear. I have taken many photos, and am happy to answer any questions you might have about the condition or value.
