Vintage bakelite bangle style bracelet - a nice thick design in a gorgeous brownish rust - sienna color. It looks like this was an end of the day piece, although there are only a couple of marbled spots which are a slightly darker brown tone. The perfect color for year round use - perfectly sized for use with spacers as well.
Measurements:
This is just a fraction under 3" in diameter - approx 1/4" thick - width 5/8" - opening is 2 1/2"
Tested bakelite - in Excellent condition!
Bakelite was one of the first plastics made from synthetic components, very popular in the late 30s and 40s. End of the day bakelite was created using remnant color batches from the day which were then swirled together (hence the marbling) creating unique one of a kind items.
