Vintage Royal Albert Old Country Roses Bone China New Old Stock: this set includes salt and pepper shaker with an adorable caddy. The shakers have scalloped edges with 22k gold trim, with painted and raised roses. Near the base has delicate roses with a faint green finish. The caddy also has gold trim, with a goldtone handle.
The box is dated 1987- the caddy is signed:

This set is has never been used, in original package. With the 2 dates, I would have to presume the set was manufactured or copyrighted in 1982 and packaged for sale in 1987. Box has very modest wear, the flap which pulls to open top has a small tear. The Old Country Roses pattern is one of the most collected china patterns, the quality of fine bone china makes it not only beautiful for display but also very functional for use. A wonderful set for a collection or gift item.
