The lenses are a G-15 (G meaning gray) with a gradient (graduated tint), they have a light mirrored finish on the inside surface of the lens. The lenses are glass which makes them Very durable- Ray Ban is one of the few remaining Opthalmic companies who invest in quality glass lenses for their eyewear. These are Opthalmic quality so you can put a prescription lens in them and they can be adjusted (by a professional of course!) for a wonderful custom fit. If you are unsure of sizing- try on a pair to make sure these will work for you. These are not a HUGE pair of sunglasses so if you want Paris Hilton shades these aren't for you- If you want Cool- these are just the ticket to get you there!
