This Lifetime TV movie concerns a shocking event in a peaceful village
of Amish farmers. A small child is found dead, and the locals cannot
decide whether it was caused by nefarious means, or if it was a simple
accident. Ellie Harrison (Mariska Hargitay) is the lawyer in charge of
getting to the bottom of the mystery, while also defending her client,
Katie (Alison Pill), who is the mother charged with murdering her own
offspring. Katie insists she never even gave birth to the baby, despite
evidence to the contrary, and Ellie finds this and other revelations to
be an eye-opening surprise as she attempts to blend in with the Amish
community. An intelligent thriller that tackles a number of pertinent
issues, THE PLAIN TRUTH was one of the most-watched films on cable in
2004.

Jenna Elfman (Dharma & Greg) stars in this Lifetime original movie
that explores the slippery nature of truth and perception. Gleaned in
flashback from the confines of a Chicago jail cell, the story centers
on the smart and engaging Ellena Roberts (Elfman) as she reveals the
details of her love affair with famous surgeon David Stillman (Sam
Robards). Sympathetic lawyer Sara Miller (Kate Burton) believes
Ellena's story and is keen to defend her client in court--until she
meets Stillman, whose version of events raises questions about the true
extent of the jailed woman's obsession.

When a victim is involved in a car crash they usually reawaken to find
that their life has slightly changed, but is more-or-less the same. Not
so for fashionable girl-about-town Jane Berry (Nancy McKeon), who opens
her eyes to find herself in a totally unrecognizable world in the
delectable comedy, COMFORT AND JOY. Focused primarily on her career and
expensive clothing, Jane finds it galling when she awakes from an
unfortunate crash to discover she is now a dowdy housewife with a
penchant for charity work! Clearly something is awry, but Jane is
flummoxed by her surroundings, and has to get her act together fast if
she's to discover exactly what happened to her past life.
