This vintage Etra pill box style handbag is just simply too cute! The
design of this little bag is so unique it is made with a gold metal
frame and the gold leather bag portion sets inside the frame. Inside
you will find on the top (lid) is a reflective metal portion which will
double as a mirror...very creative. It isn't as clear as a glass mirror
would be, but serves its purpose. This has a large gold snap closure
and the top of the bag is gold leather also, which is lightly padded
giving it some dimension. Two handles top the bag off, they are joined
together with a gold band. Four small gold balls are placed on the
bottom to give this a nice balanced platform. This little jewel is in
very nice condition, this is a great mid-century find! Inside has a small ink mark , a few light scratches on the mirrored top, where
the handles connect to the top of the bag there is mild peeling of the
finish. It is not noticeable when just looking at it because this is on
the bottom side.
A very nice retro vintage bag, perfect for special occasions, display use and festive holiday gatherings.
