These are a really thick and really big design, tested end of the day bakelite circa 1940's - in excellent condition.
Bakelite was one
of the first plastics made from synthetic components, very popular in
the late 30s and 40s. End of the day bakelite was created using remnant
color batches from the day which were then swirled together (hence the
marbling) creating unique one of a kind items.
